Since I started my blog, I am having lots of fun researching products, finding out about new trends and trying out new styles……. basically shopping online and sometimes in stores, when and if I get to town. Seriously though, I am always on the look out for unique online stores that offer good quality products and at honest prices. I had already discovered this store at an ladies event last year so I was very excited when they contacted me to collaborate with them.
It has been a crazy few weeks since races and I am still busy replying to all your messages. The Birdsville Races Fashions on the Field event was fantastic. The ladies and gentlemen were dressed impeccably and I was very impressed. Again, the stakes were high for Best Dressed. Today, I will go through what I wore.
As secretary of the Birdsville Race Club, Fashions on the Field has become increasingly popular in recent years. I have been involved with the BRC for four years and in that time I have focused some of my time and passion into their Fashions on the Field event. In 2016, I coordinated the event for the first time. As I prepare again for this year, I reflected on my past event. So I have decided to focus on the do’s and don’t of FOTF so you can start to prepare your outfit for your race event.
‘Why not wear maternity clothes post pregnancy?’ was what I heard myself say to a dear friend of mine. She just had a beautiful baby 4 weeks ago and was nearly confessing to me how she was still in maternity jeans. She was trying on her old jeans nearly every other day. I nearly had to shake her back to reality. I had 3 babies and explained how I nearly missed my maternity clothes after I lost my post baby weight. I know lots of my friends who purchased some really yummy maternity jeans
